Programs

During the summer Southern K Ranch serves over 275 youth and therapeutic children by offering the following programs:

Summer Therapeutic Horseback Riding
A recreational program for therapeutic children to learn about horsemanship and help their disabilities.

Summer Youth Horseback Riding
Provides a basic understanding of Rodeo events and enhances riding skills to youth and children so they can reach for higher education through Rodeo scholarships.

High School Rodeo
Provides a facility for youth to practice and train for high school Rodeo. High School Rodeo is nationally recognized in 40 states and 3 provinces in Canada. There are over 2,000 participants each year. During the year, youth participate for over $150,000 in prize money and scholarships to over 137 collages and universities across the country, which have Rodeo teams.
